I’m loving all the red, white and blue in this summer’s fashion. To join the fun I made some “30004” tees in that color scheme and they are NOW at Henry & Pearl in Milton, GA. There is Blue with Red “30004” as pictured and also Red with Blue “30004”. Grab one to celebrate Memorial Day, July 4th and even Milton Football in a few months. Happy Red, White & Blue Summer!
One of the reasons I love fashion and following the trends and style makers is that it is always pretty and happy and easy. It’s never tragic or ugly (well, sometimes…) or sad. After all that goes on in the world that we must face, pray about, worry over and concern ourselves with it is sometimes just nice to flip through a fashion magazine and lose yourself in that world. I don’t usually try to say much with my SMIJ tees, but I made this one last year around the holidays and this year it held even more meaning for me. It’s inspiring me and that’s always good.
Also, loving this long sunshine cardi from Chic Wish. I think this one is sold out, but never fear… There are many, many more great options…
Chunky Knit Hooded from Chic Wish, too: ON SALE $67 There are several ways to wear long cardis and this is one I like. A long cardi over a shorter outfit. I’ve done long cardis over shorter shift dresses often and love the layered look and lengthening and slimming effect.
This weather makes me want to cook. It’s not always the best grilling weather so I tend to make fun things that warm us up and can be made indoors. If your family loves taco night as much as mine does you may like this do-it-yourself taco seasoning as much as we do. I used to buy the packets until I made my own one time. So. Much. Better. It’s great because it’s much less salty and you can tweak it to your own heat or taste preference. Also, you can make a bunch and store it for future use.
The highlight of my week? I was motivated to do the most recent iOS update when I realized there were new emojis to be enjoyed…
I am so thrilled with all the new emojis in the latest iOS update. It’s the little things in life… like 184 new ways to communicate! I found this great list of all the new ones. Some I had to look up and I also wanted to make sure I was aware of all my new options. In the future we may communicate completely in pictures. Is that kind of going backwards? Oh well… I love it!
We had so much fun on our hot day in the city! It must have been 8,000 degrees this day so we headed toward some air conditioned – and frozen – activities.
We started our day at BurgerFi in Alpharetta (5 Atlanta locations) and…YUM! The people who worked there were so nice, bringing us delicious custard samples and cracking jokes. The burgers are all-natural, grass-fed and just taste like they were made by people who care. Highly recommend – great atmosphere, great food!
After some aquarium fun, we headed over to SkyView Atlanta. I’ve been dying to ride this and the time had arrived! This was a great way to see the city – so much fun.
